The Borough's New Rain Garden!

W.G. 1 View from 2nd Fl Municipal Building

Come check out the Borough's new rain garden at 601 Thorn St. It is being used to help with the sustainability program and municipal separate storm sewer systems (MS4) project. The rain garden is used to collect water for plants instead of having runoff flood the sewer systems and help to reduce pollution being run into the river. It will help with erosion control, reduce community flooding, and is an ecologically and aesthetically pleasing new landscape addition.
