How Do I Get My Garbage Collected?

Sewickley Borough has a contract with a private hauler, Waste Management (1-800-866-4460). You need to contact them directly to arrange for curbside pick-up service. Curbside pick-up is once a week. A voluntary recycling program is available to residents on a bi-weekly basis. Construction materials will not be taken. Recycle Bin can be purchased at the Municipal Building for $11.00.

Garbage Recycling Contract

The Borough of Sewickley, as a member of the Quaker Valley Council of Governments, has awarded a new five year Residential Garbage and Recycling Contract to its current provider, Waste Management.
The new contract fees are as follows:

 Quarterly Annually

January 1, 2017 - December 31, 2017 $52.86 $211.44
January 1, 2018 - December 31, 2018 $54.18 $216.72
January 1, 2019 - December 31, 2019 $55.53 $222.12
January 1, 2020 - December 31, 2020 $56.91 $227.64
January 1, 2021 - December 31, 2021 $58.32 $233.28

In addition, Waste Management will be providing an e-waste recycling program.

Door-To-Door Household Hazardous Waste Collection Program
