BOROUGH OF SEWICKLEY – OFFICIAL NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING, PUBLIC HEARING, AND INTENT TO ENACT ZONING ORDINANCE AMENDMENT REGARDING SHORT-TERM RESIDENTIAL RENTALS
The Borough of Sewickley hereby gives notice of proposed Ordinance No. 1381 to amend the Sewickley Borough Zoning Ordinance to allow for and restrict short-term residential rental properties as an accessory use only in the General Commercial (C-1) and Village Overlay (VO) zoning districts, providing for definitions applicable to short-term rentals, and setting forth specific standards for the establishment and use of short-term rental units in the Borough. The Sewickley Borough Council will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, November 22, 2022, at 6:00 p.m. in the 2nd Floor Council Chambers of the Sewickley Borough Municipal Building at which time all interested parties will be given the opportunity to be heard on the proposed enactment of Ordinance No. 1381.
The Council of the Borough of Sewickley intends to enact Ordinance No. 1381 at its regular meeting to be held on Tuesday, December 13, 2022, at 7:00 p.m. in the 2nd Floor Council Chambers of the Sewickley Borough Municipal Building.
