Fall Leaf Collection Extended Until December 13!

The Borough's Fall Leaf Collection program began on Monday, September 23, and will now end on Friday, December 13, 2019, weather permitting.   The following rules are in effect concerning this service.
1.  Leaves are to be placed along the street line and NOT in the street.  Placing leaves in the street can cause sewer backup and entice children to play in the leaves on the street, which creates a dangerous situation.
2.  Brush, grass and shrubbery clippings are not to be mixed with leaves.  Grass and shrubbery clippings are required to be bagged for weekly garbage collection.  Branches must be cut to 4 ft. lengths and bundled; Waste Management, the Borough's waste collection hauler, will not pick up branches unless this is done.  The Borough will only pick up branches after a storm.
3.  Leaves that are not put out for collection during this time will have to be bagged for regular waste pick up.
